Ascension Day — Thursday 14 May
Ascension Day marks the exaltation of the risen Christ and the completion of his earthly ministry, as he is taken up into heaven and promises the coming of the Holy Spirit. It is a joyful and hope‑filled moment in the Church’s year, celebrated with prayer, word, and sacrament.
