Gifts from our community are vital to SJB's life and work as we continue to serve the people of Barnet.  This enables us to mainain the legacy of faith, music and worship we've inherited since 1420.

Church Organ Appeal

As expected, we have fast approached the time when our organ is to be updated again. We have secured a contract with Henry Groves & Son Ltd to update our organ, refurbish the perishable sheepskin, readjust the stop action and sliders, as well as to rebuild our console with the latest playing-aids; ideal for organ students and for organ recitalists. Our organ appeal which was launched in April 2024, has made strong progress towards meeting the cost of repairs, which currently stands at £165,000. We warmly welcome all donations and contributions toward the organ appeal, and thank all who have contributed for their continued generosity.

Regular Giving

A monthly gift is the most effective way to support the life and work of our church, as it helps us to fund our mission, budget and use resources wisely.  How much you can give is up to you.  Leviticus encourages us to consider giving 10% of our income, as the 'first fruits' or best bits of what God gives us, as we give back to him.  But this is just a starting point.  We know this will not be possible for many people and we're just so grateful for anything you can give.  So, please commit your giving to God in prayer and know we're grateful for you, always.
