At St John the Baptist, it is our deep joy and calling to accompany people through the major events of life—whether moments of great celebration or of sorrow and loss. Whether you are seeking baptism for yourself or a child, preparing to be married, or arranging a funeral for a loved one, the Church is here for you. These occasions matter deeply, and we offer not only beautiful and thoughtful services, but also ongoing pastoral care and prayerful support. You do not need to be a regular member of the congregation to approach us—these are times when the Church is honoured to stand alongside you. In each of these life events, we affirm the presence of God in the whole sweep of human experience, and you are always welcome to remain part of the community that prays with you, supports you, and rejoices or mourns with you.
