As part of our observance of Black History Month, St John the Baptist Church warmly invites you to join us at our 9.30am Parish Eucharist on Sunday 1 November, when we will be welcoming Dr Zina Arinze as our guest speaker.
Known as The Reinvention Queen, Dr Arinze is a multi-award-winning international speaker, leadership coach, lawyer, best-selling author and ministry leader. Her work spans leadership development, cultural sensitivity training, community engagement and Christian ministry, with a particular focus on empowering women, promoting inclusion and addressing issues such as racism, domestic abuse and modern slavery.
Born in London to Nigerian parents, Dr Arinze's unique life journey across different cultural environments has given her a profound understanding of identity, belonging and race. Grounded in her Christian faith, she speaks passionately about recognising the dignity of every person and learning to see, hear, value and honour one another across cultural and racial differences.
We look forward to hearing Dr Arinze's reflections as we celebrate the richness and diversity of God's people and explore how faith calls us to justice, understanding and love of neighbour.
All are welcome to attend.
